Only this week and next week left until I have to go back to work...I can't believe it's been 4 weeks! So far, Ive lost 40 lbs. I feel the same as I always have, I just can't stomach eating more then a few bites now, I crave everything I CAN'T eat, as if I was pregnant, and I just have a crazy almost a scar, on my stomach. Other then that, you wouldn't think I had anything done.
Ava is zooming around our new apt, which still hasn't gotten fully unpacked. And is now almost 8 months old. I think she will walk soon too.
I don't really have any pictures to post, but, I should after we do family pictures in two weeks when Tom and Aida come for a visit.

Some more info...
OKay... So, I had to go get a psyche evaluation, 3 MRI's for my back because I think I have a pinched nerve, a heart stress test (which isn't fun, because they hook you up to an IV and pump chemicals to make your heart race really hard), breathing tests, 2 Sleep studies, and a CPAP machine because I have sleep apnea, and nutritional consults to "get my ducks in a row"
If you want to learn more about the surgeon, or about the surgery, you can go to
www.azwls.com
On a less serious note, things are going well at work. Last month I made top production and best overall for the monthly awards, and got 2 extra casual days for it. And Adam and I will be doing a packing day on Saturday so that we can have a lot of our stuff ready for our move on Feb 13th... Which we are excited about because its a much nicer apartment... granted not a house yet... but atleast its an apartment.
Today, I took an understanding leadership class, and we learned about different leadership styles and different types of people, and the DISC model. I really enjoyed it because it pretty much pegged me. If you heard of it, I am a strong D, and then a C.
If you want to learn about it, and learn how to communicate better with all different types of people go to:
www.discprofile.com/
Well.. Thats kinda it for now.
I am trying to keep this up and blog every day like someone I know... I think I will be able to improve my communication skills that way.

So... It's Been a while...
So, It's been a while since I have posted, I guess I am in a writing rutt and don't feel like I have much to say sometimes.
An update... Ava, is now 6 months old going on 17! Well, not really... But she is almost 7 months old now and she is growing so fast! She is crawling all around and now starting to pull herself onto stuff... Which is different then what I am use to because Aven took until he was 9 1/2 months old to even get to this point. She has two teeth on the bottom now, and really enjoys crawling after Aven and going in their room and seeing what toys she can get her hands on.
Aven is two now, he turned two December 18th, and I can't belive its been that long since I had him... He is now a little man! His best friend is Jayden, every day he always wants to go over to see "jaydee" and he also now wants to take lots of baths! Which is a polar opposite of the past year when he would scream and pitch the biggest fit if he had to bathe. Aven can say lots of small sentences and is so much fun, but he is in the "terrible two's" and sometimes gets really fussy when he doesn't get his way (sounds like someone you know huh?)...
Anyway, so Adam is still kinda the same, he stays at home with the kids and takes care of them, which is a big help.
As for me... BIG NEWS... If you haven't already heard... On Jan 27th, next Tuesday... I am going under the knife and having a duodenal switch surgery... its a weight loss surgery. I have been preparing myself for this since I was 16, and as of the end of November I have finally gotten all my ducks in a row to get things going.
It is a life changing thing for myself as well as the Kids and Adam and all of my extended family. I want to be an example and make healthy changes in my life, and this will be a good tool for me. I want to live and not center my life around being inactive anymore. I want to really feel active.
Anyhow, I will be sure to blog more, and keep updates on my progress.
And we are going to get family pictures soon, and I will be sure to post them.
Hope all is well with everyone else that reads this. Take care!

You can choose your friends but not your family... But when you choose your family as your friends life is sweet...
Brings a new meaning to "sleeping like a baby"... She is getting so big! 12lbs and 2 months old already!Family, I love my family, but more importantly I love my family that I have created. Adam is my bestfriend and I have come to realize that no one will be more supportive of me and my choices no matter how crazy they are, then Adam.
We also have been really fortunate enough to have my cousin Heidi move here this summer and her kids. A few weeks ago we went to Oceanside and had a great time on our first Family vacation together without my parents.
It isn't the best picture, but I love it when they are both together, and smile.
Aven learns so much and develops so much that it amazes me.

The Beginning...
Wow, Where do we begin. Well... Adam and I have had a rough begining and a rough road, but I think things are looking up and finally we are getting the hang of having a Family to call our own and to enjoy.
Aven is now 20 months old, and growing. He likes to be independent and try things out for himself. He loves the computer and we can bearly use it when he is around because he wants to watch "su-why" (A pbs show called super why which I have on my itunes). He likes to pick out his clothes and try feeding himself with the utensils (but doesn't always succeed) and he loves to play outside and help Adam take Maddi for walks. He enjoys his little sister for the most part and just wants to help feed her or put her paci in her mouth for her. All in all he is has been a good big brother and loves being grown up.
Ava is now two months old and is growing fast! We finally have her to the point that she isn't overly fussy from her reflux, but she does always have to be propped up so that she doesn't throw up and gag. She looks at us and smiles and laughs and coo's alot when she is awake and not hungry or gassy. She is starting to show more of her personality, which is totally different from Aven. She is a lot more sensitive to things then Aven was; you can really tell she is going to be a girly girl.
We went to Oceanside last weekend for our first family vacation together. It was so beautiful and not too hot and the beach was so nice. Unfortunately, Aven didn't like the sand or the ocean water coming up on his feet, and we didn't get to swim in the ocean. Heidi (my cousin) and her three kids came with us as well, which was great because Aven loves playing with her kids.
The Car ride there was the longest, but then the car ride home was nice and fast because we left around 8pm so the kids would all sleep.
I went back to work a few weeks ago, I am really enjoying the adult interaction but miss the kids a lot when Im gone. I am going to be taking some classes at countrywide to try and further my career at work and possibly be an On the Job trainer and eventually a supervisor or management. I sit all by myself in a corner right in front of the Manager of my division I'm in and she gives me tips and pointers and we talk alot about my career and how to further it. She is really a great mentor.
